In September of 1988, at the request of a group of
interested local residents, Dr. Bill initiated the Pacific
Coast Church, and continues as its Minister and spiritual
guide. PCC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our day-to-day
operations are managed by David Hayward. The Board of
Stewards (BOS) provides oversight and management of
the church.
Key BOS activities include:
- Strategic planning of key initiatives for PCC growth
and on-going prosperity
- Budget oversight
- Capital and expense allocations
- Salary and benefits administration
- Alignment and enlisting of resources to focus on
Sunday services, the target initiatives
and ancillary activities of the PCC community
- Monthly BOS meetings or as needed to manage the
church affairs.

many friends and supporters, he began Pacific Coast

Sharon Parsons – Vice-President
Famous at PCC for Prosperity Dinners and generous
elegant entertaining, dinner at Sharon’s lovely
Chualar home has been the single most highly bid
upon item at every PCC auction in recent years.
Sharon has done many interesting things throughout
her career, including teaching and spending many
years as a color consultant, which has proved very
beneficial to PCC as we renovate and upgrade our
new church home. Much of her time now is focused
on her role as a Member of the Monterey County Planning
Commission. 831-679-2511

Barbara Allen – Steward
Barbara spent her professional career in
the hospitality industry working for most of the
major chains including the Biltmore in Los Angeles
before moving to Monterey to open her own Victorian
bed and breakfast called The Jabberwock. Barbara’s
skills as a hostess are unparalleled and she keeps
The Board fed and watered with sumptuous meals that
she seemingly produces out of a hat. Not long after
selling The Jabberwock, Barbara found retirement
too boring and, given her love of animals, now works
very happily with Monterey County Animal Services
in Salinas. 831-333-0377

book buying. Professionally, Estelle is a career
counselor both here on the Peninsula with her own
Career Action Center and with several large companies
in Silicon Valley. She also volunteers at Hospice
House as a grief counselor and SCORE as an entrepreneur
counselor. Her recent class, co-taught with Susan
Scott, Manifesting Whatever You Want To Be, Do,
Or Have was attended by 85 people and is the largest
class ever held at PCC. 831-372-1828

construction company after leaving school. He has
been a professional actor and spent over thirteen

Dr. Bill. 831-372-1942, Ext. #1
