What is a Practitioner?

A Practitioner is an individual who has been trained to use the art and skill of Spiritual Mind Treatment (affirmative prayer) and thus use the power of the mind to heal. A Treatment, therefore, is an affirmative prayer that removes old beliefs in limitations and expands consciousness to embrace a larger sense of Divinity.

Our Practitioners are licensed through The Emerson Theological Institute, which is the educational arm of Affiliated New Thought Network (ANTN). Practitioners undergo three years of study, a year of internship and take an oral and a written examination. They also must provide five case studies including testimony from their clients that their Treatment work has been effective. They attend meetings and classes regularly to refine and extend their skill of Treatment.

When do I need a Practitioner?

A Practitioner is like a spiritual friend who always knows your real inner nature and helps you remember, or re-member, your true self even when you have forgotten it. They help you remember that there is only One and that One is being you now. Therefore, all the joy there is, all the Power there is and all the Intelligence there is is being you now. You’ll also remember that God in you, as you, is you. When you feel that a problem is overwhelming, or if you feel that you are too close to a situation, consider a session with a Practitioner. Others choose to work with a Practitioner on an ongoing basis for growth and personal healing. Practitioners are trained to maintain objectivity in their work. They also function in complete confidentiality. This ensures that your needs are handled with clarity and spiritual discretion. Practitioner sessions usually last no more than thirty minutes.

What shall I do if want to see a Practitioner?

On Sunday mornings there are now two Practitioners on duty, and one of them will see you for a brief session at no charge directly after Service. You may also write out a request and place it in the Treatment Request Box in the foyer or submit an online Treatment Request Form. A Practitioner will then work on your request during the week. These services are also our gift to you free of charge.

In addition to these services our Practitioners are available for private professional sessions by appointment.

Dr. Bill Little, Pastor
Dr. Bill received his Ph.D. in physics from Georgia Tech in 1969 and was teaching at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey where he first heard about Religious Science. He returned to New York to continue his Ministerial studies and before long, he returned as the Minister at the Monterey Church where he remained until 1987. Dr. Bill was awarded a Doctorate in Religious Science in 1986. In 1988 he and Dr. Carl DeVito of the Postgraduate School published a paper on Fractals in the international journal "Physical Review." In 1989, at the request of many friends and supporters he began Pacific Coast Church. He currently serves on the Board of ANTN as treasurer and just for fun teaches mathematics at Monterey Peninsula College. ($75/session) Call Dr. Bill at 831-372-1930.

Rick Moss, Ph.D., Minister of Prayer
Dr. Rick Moss is the founder of a clearing technique called Pre-Cognitive Re-Education that frees the conscious and subconscious from negative and limiting beliefs and blockages thus allowing our innate and God-Given perfection to be more fully expressed.

Rick received his Ph.D. in education from the University of Texas at Austin with a dissertation on education and consciousness. He has been involved in personal growth and spiritual development for close to thirty-five years. This includes fifteen years as a teacher of meditation, two years teaching communication skills and close to twenty years developing and teaching Pre-Cognitive Re-Education. He has been involved with Dr. Bill and PCC for over fifteen years. On most Sunday mornings he does a spiritual integration during Services and co-facilitates a very popular Healing and Discussion Circle afterwards with Dr. Gary Richman. Rev. Nancy Callahan
Nancy is a CPA and Financial Planner with an office in Carmel. She has a keen sense of humor that is healing in and of itself and her Treatments reflect her sincere compassion and understanding. Rev. Cathy Cole

Rev. Pam George
Pam is a “super-mom.” She has raised six children, five dogs, two cats, one Cockatiel and a Cockatoo and is recently a very proud grandmother. Children always challenge us to find God or the Truth within our own being. Her sweet, caring nature offers a warmth that is peaceful and healing, and she speaks with Divine authority. David first visited PCC in July 1994 and has hardly been home since. He became our Administrator in 1998 and a licensed Practitioner in 2003. Rev. Sandy Leader
My passion is to help people recognize their own innate creativity and gain the confidence to express it in their lives. A writer, artist and musician with a professional background in journalism, I have been practicing meditation for nearly 20 years, and I have completed an intensive two-year study of the scriptural basis for meditation and a teacher-training program with Sally Kempton, a former monk with the Siddha Yoga lineage. I have been teaching on spiritual topics and facilitating women’s circles and retreats for a decade. Rev. Dr. Carell Zaehn
Rev. Dr. Carell Zaehn has always been a dynamic teacher and an intuitive healer for 30 years. Her teaching  ranges from the  Science of Mind curriculum to secondary school French, with everything from astrology to forgiveness in between. Rev. Sreya Zekas
Rev. Sreya Zekas is a lively speaker and popular teacher with courses ranging from the basics of Science of Mind to World Religions, meditation, restorative yoga, and retreats. She also developed and guides our teen program, the Dream Weavers. Sreya began her studies of Religious Science in 1967. She attended CSUMB in the Global Studies program, Monterey College of Law, Amritapuri at Kerala, India and Pacifica Graduate Institute in the In-depth and Archetypal Psychology program with a focus on Global Mythology. Rev. Karla Bristow
